Why You Should Trust Lux Points Life Rankings
The ultimate travel experience for me is going on an African safari. Exploring the African bush and witnessing incredible animals like lions, giraffes, zebras, and elephants is truly unforgettable and something everyone should have on their bucket list.
One reason I create numerous Top 10 lists around the world is due to the prevalence of sponsored content I see in hotel rankings by major media outlets and blogs. These rankings often involve paid promotions for hotels, leading to bias. To counter this trend, I took it upon myself to curate my own authentic best hotel lists.
My goal has consistently been to offer unbiased content and information worldwide. I’ve felt disheartened by the prevalence of sponsored content and misleading rankings online. It’s frustrating to have spent money on hotels based on others’ sponsored reviews only to find them less luxurious than expected.
A few reasons why you should trust Lux Points Life’s rankings are as follows:
– I pay for all of my hotel stays with my own money.
– I do not get paid by any hotel to promote them or put them on this list.
– I have stayed in many ultra luxury hotels around the world over the years so I am using my first hand experience to rank these hotels based on my visits.
– I am an extremely analytical person who has done the following in life: High school valedictorian, 4.6 GPA, graduated from USC with a degree in Biology, started multiple companies in the finances & real estate space.
My Methodology
My methodology for selection of the best hotels in the world is to include the following descriptions emphasis in my ranking, those that fit the criteria below will rank the highest:
– Most luxury per dollar spent
– Most visually stunning & architecturally magnificent
– Privacy & seclusion the hotel offers
– Nicest hotel of that region
– Preference to private islands, safaris, nature hotels over busy city hotels
– Hotel views, rooms, and grounds of the property
– Uniqueness of the property
Note: All rates are in USD and are excluding taxes & transfer.
Even if you don’t fully agree with my list, I aim to offer you a starting point to discover some of the finest properties worldwide. If you have a different ranking or if I missed including a property you adore, please share your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you for reading!
