The very best time to visit Zimbabwe is in May through October when the bush is more golden, and the climate is dry, providing more opportunities to see animals clearly.
However, this is also a period of high rates, personally, I like to visit Zimbabwe in the months of March through May and then also in November since the weather is great with little amounts of precipitation, and the rates are fantastic.
